| SYNOPSIS |

The weather improves enough for the team to get back on the mountain. As they push up towards Camp Three, at 7,200 metres, a Sherpa rebellion halts their progress. The super strong Nepalese guides they have employed to help them carry their kit up the mountain feel they are not getting enough rest, and so desert the team in order to head down the mountain to eat local food.
Undaunted, the army carry on climbing, but then the expedition is hit by tragedy. Two extreme skiers, one from Sweden and one from Norway, have been given hospitality at the army's base camp as they attempt to become the first people ever to ski down the North Face of Everest via the Great Coulior.
The army are watching their progress when, terribly, one of them falls 10,000 feet to his death. Everyone is extremely shaken by the tragedy, which reminds them all just how deadly Everest can be.
