Terms
& Conditions
1. The competition (the “Competition”) is open from
10am on Wednesday until midnight the following Tuesday, every week
from 12 October 2005 until 20 December 2005 (“the Competition
Period”) and operated by Flextech Television Limited, 160
Great Portland Street, London, W1W 5QA (“Flextech”)
found at URL [http://www.bravo.co.uk].
2. The Competition is open to all UK and Eire residents aged 18
or over, excluding employees, agents (or families of such employees
or agents) of Flextech or anyone else connected with the administration
of the Competition (the “Players”).
3. By entering the Competition, all Players agree to be bound by
these Terms and Conditions and any Player who fails to abide by
any of these Terms and Conditions, or fails to meet the entry criteria
set out in paragraph 2 above, may be disqualified at the sole discretion
of Flextech.
4. Players may enter the Competition by calling the telephone number
09014 900 320, register their personal details (ie name, address,
telephone number etc) and complete all other information required.
Players must ensure that permission is obtained from the person
who pays the telephone bill before making any calls. If you are
making the telephone call from a landline the call will cost no
more than 50 pence per entry.
5. Players must correctly answer the multiple choice question that
will be featured during the transmission of that week’s episode
of the programme known as ‘Gamer TV’ on the channel
known as Bravo.
6. Correct entries will go forward to a draw. There will be one
winning entry, which will be the first entry drawn at random from
all eligible entries validly submitted (the “Winner”).
The decision by Flextech as to the determination of the Winner shall
be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
7. Flextech accepts no responsibility for incomplete, lost, damaged,
incomprehensible or indecipherable entries and all such entries
shall be disqualified. Confirmation of sending an entry via the
internet is not proof of entry, nor does it constitute receipt.
All entries must be received by midnight of the following Tuesday
(the “Closing Date”). No entries will be accepted after
the Closing Date.
8. The Prize: The Winner will receive the prize item(s) featured
in that week’s episode of Gamer TV transmitted on Bravo, as
per Clause 5 above. The Prize will include nothing other than that
expressly stated to be included as part of the Prize. Players should
be aware that the Prize may be subject to terms and conditions of
third parties for which Flextech is not responsible or liable and
by entering the Competition all Players are therefore deemed to
have accepted and be bound by those terms and conditions.
9. The Winner will be contacted by telephone within 7 days of the
end of the that week’s competition and in the event that the
Winner fails to confirm acceptance of the Prize within 3 days of
receiving notification, then Flextech reserves the right to substitute
them with another Player of its choice.
10. The Prize is non-transferable, subject to availability and
there is no cash alternative. Flextech may substitute an alternative
of the same or comparable value if it, in its sole discretion, deems
necessary.
11. The name and county of the Winner can be obtained by writing
to Flextech at the address set out in paragraph 1 (above), enclosing
a stamped addressed envelope, or by visiting the website www.bravo.co.uk
12. The Winner agrees to participate in such reasonable publicity
as may be requested by Flextech. The Winner agrees to the publication
of their respective name and county as referred to in paragraph
11 above.
13. As far as permitted by law (but not including liability personal
injury or death arising from its negligence) Flextech excludes all
liability in connection with the Competition or the Prize awarded
or not awarded in connection with the Competition.
14. Flextech reserves the right to modify or vary the Competition
and/or these Terms and Conditions at any time.
15. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed
in accordance with laws of England and the courts of England shall
have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes arising.
