ZOE BROUGHTON
If you plan to film inside a company, it makes
sense to spend several days working or becoming
familiar before taking in your equipment.
There's a huge range of undercover equipment
available which is getting smaller all the
time as it's going digital and can be concealed
in all sorts of places.
Try not to break the law by removing any property
from the company - instead you can film sensitive
documents, write information on scraps of
paper or even on yourself for later use.
Don't get caught up in telling huge webs of
lies. The closer you are to the truth, the
easier it is to speak convincingly to your
workmates or to your boss.
With undercover work, it is not advisable
to tell anyone except those who absolutely
need to know what you are doing.
